  2. on the topic of staying in hostels and b&b’s there is also the option of bothys, there usually located in remote places in scotland and have a bit of a hike to get to it but there free and have the best views you could wish for. for people that dont know what they are there old stone houses that droves possibly could have used/ old homes from the early/late 1800 but some are new builds
